EXT. - SOUTH DAKOTA - MOUNT RUSHMORE - DAY We see an already fog covered mountain. Park rangers and groundskeepers are looking perplexed. It doesn’t look like a normal storm cloud. Park visitors are just beginning to arrive. As they approach the opening, looks of disappointment cover the faces in the crowd due to what appears to be inclement weather. RUMBLING comes from the mountain behind the fog. Visitors stop, Rangers and keepers look up, people pull out phones and cameras. Our P.O.V. is now through a teen’s cell phone camera. We see the fog begin to clear and at the same time, WASHINGTON’S HEAD BECOMES VISIBLE! He begins to slowly move from side to side squeezing free from the mountain. WASHINGTON PUSHES HIS CHEST FORWARD AS ROCK AND DEBRIS BEGIN TO FLY AS IF THERE WAS A DYNAMITE BLAST FROM THE INTERIOR OF HIS JACKET! From what was thought to be solid rock below the bottom of Washington’s jacket, LEGS KICK FREE AS HE PLANTS HIS FIRST STEP FROM HIS MOLDED HOLD! The ground shakes THUNDEROUSLY as screaming tourist and Rangers begin to run.
