Born and raised in Philadelphia, I just love to write because I feel like I can create any person, place, or situation from things I've experienced or seen and blend them all together into one big ball of page turning fiction!

ABOUT ME

Gail Williams was born and raised on the streets of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was educated in the Philadelphia Public School system. Gail’s father died suddenly during her early teenage years which left her feeling the need to play helper to her mother Cynthia in raising her younger sister Angela. Prepared to graduate from Murrell Dobbins vocational technical high school, Gail skipped her senior prom and headed straight to work at in insurance company on an early release high school work program. She soon found herself, in only one year, running a small department as the companies’ youngest supervisor at only 19 years old. During her career in the insurance industry Gail quickly found out that she had other talents that she felt the need to pursue. She decided to enroll in Wilfred Hair Academy to pursue a license in cosmetology. Even before Wilfred Gail embraced young girls from her neighborhood and always found ways to help them with their fashion and grooming, knowing that their budgets didn't allow them that luxury. She flourished in her class, graduating with honors, and after seven years at the insurance company, she decided to leave and fully pursue her career in cosmetology. Gail soared in the hair business for 20 years until the economy began to change and she needed a way to supplement her income. Gail tried a business venture with her sister Angela and excelled to one of the top spots in her sister’s team. During this transition Gail began to document some of the things that happened in a short time period in her life and decided to turn it into her first fiction novel. All the while the economy continued to take a serious nose dive and she realized the need to go back to work and receive a steady income and put her writing career on the shelf. Gail headed back to work and also into a new career of Security Ambassador of the Comcast skyscraper in Philadelphia. Gail hit the ground running learning everything she could about her new career. Within two years’ time she worked her way up to a new position of Ambassador Trainer of Security. Not being one to ever settle for 1 career, Gail returned to her writing career by partnering with her sister and combining their ideas and turning them into screen plays for the movie industry and writing more solo works of fiction.
